Licensed Professional Counselor, Adult Outpatient — Pennsylvania Remote
Provide psychotherapy to Geisinger patients in its adult outpatient program, including individual, family, couples, and group sessions. Develop treatment plans and coordinate triage and crisis response with clinical teams.
Tavsif
- Assess patients’ needs and abilities, then create plans to improve functioning and address symptoms.
- Review ongoing biopsychosocial needs, identify concerns, and determine appropriate treatment.
- Deliver psychotherapy and case management to assigned patients.
- Lead or co-lead group therapy as the primary therapist or co-therapist.
- Provide individual, family, and couples therapy.
- Collect relevant information in line with program and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate triage assessments and crisis intervention with outpatient and inpatient teams.
- Contribute to program planning with the psychiatry team and other relevant colleagues.
- Follow agency policies, professional standards, and applicable ethical guidelines.
Talablar
- Master’s degree in social sciences is required.
- Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license.
- Ability to assess biopsychosocial needs and create treatment plans.
- Ability to provide individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy.
- Ability to deliver case management.
- Ability to take part in triage assessments and crisis intervention.
- Ability to follow agency policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
- Work is generally performed in a clinical setting.
