Junior Business Analyst, AI and Automation
Bring AI and automation into Huckberry’s retail operations by building analytical tools, prototypes, and workflows. Partner with finance and business teams to improve how they make decisions.
Tavsif
- Create and improve analytical tools for decisions across Planning, Merchandising, Buying, E-commerce, Operations, and Growth.
- Analyze data with SQL, BigQuery, Hex, and AI tools; develop insights and prototypes, and automate manual workflows.
- Work across teams to understand decision-making and find opportunities to improve tooling.
- Turn business questions into analytical requirements and work with Data & Tech on architecture and production support.
- Develop internal tools and prototypes, check results against business outcomes, and refine them using user feedback.
- Check AI-generated work carefully for accuracy.
- Record assumptions, logic, and business rules.
- Help turn successful prototypes into tools adopted by business teams.

- Work through ambiguous problems by making reasonable assumptions, explaining them, and moving forward.
- Have 0–2 years of experience; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree; graduates from all fields are encouraged to apply.
- Be comfortable working with data; SQL is a plus.
- Learn new tools quickly.
- Have exposure to Python or another scripting language; this is helpful but not required.
- Have strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.
- Take ownership and work effectively without fully defined instructions.
- Have meaningful experience using AI tools through coursework, internships, personal projects, or work.
- Explain technical concepts clearly to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively across functions.
- Be based at the Austin, Texas headquarters; relocation support is available for remote hires.
