Innovation Attorney, Client Team Enablement
Help Latham & Watkins’ legal clients adopt AI and legal technology, guiding engagements from discovery through implementation and ongoing support.
Tavsif
- Shape and deliver client AI engagements, including workflow design, pilots, workshops, and collaborative innovation initiatives
- Partner with lawyers, client teams, and clients to find ways AI and legal technology can improve legal workflows and service delivery
- Explain how AI can be used in legal work, including its capabilities, limits, appropriate use, and need for human oversight
- Guide client opportunities from initial discovery through solution design, testing, implementation, and ongoing support
- Match client needs with the firm’s approved AI, legal technology, automation, and related tools
- Ensure client AI work meets standards for quality, documentation, confidentiality, information security, and compliance
- Spot recurring client needs, effective approaches, and capability gaps, then share findings with the Manager and wider team
- Work with Business Development to develop technology content for panels, pitches, RFPs, and client discussions
Talablar
- Bring practical expertise in AI, generative AI, and legal technology, including their use in legal service delivery
- Understand legal workflows, law firm operations, and the needs of sophisticated legal clients
- Be able to support complex client engagements from discovery through delivery
- Demonstrate advanced analytical and problem-solving ability
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Have at least five years of relevant experience
- Show established interest in and knowledge of legal technology and AI tools, including generative AI
- J.D. or equivalent preferred
