Fabricate and install sheet metal components for naval vessel production at HII’s Ingalls Shipbuilding facility in Pascagoula. This onsite role covers ductwork, exhaust systems, containers, and instrumentation panels.
Tavsif
- Fabricate and install sheet metal components, including ductwork, ventilation systems, main engine exhaust, metal containers, and instrumentation panels
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and lay out assigned work
- Apply shop mathematics to complete fabrication tasks
Talablar
- At least four years of sheet metal or related craft experience, such as joinery, shipfitting, or carpentry
- Preferred ability to set up and operate sheet metal equipment, including brakes and shears
- Preferred ability to pass a skills assessment test
- Preferred ability to read marine blueprints
- Preferred ability to work from both standard and metric specifications
- Availability to work multiple shifts
- U.S. citizenship is not required for this position
