Generalist Engineer I (NV1 Cleared) — Canberra
Integrate software, automate deployments, and support production systems for Bureau Veritas’ federal government client. This on-site, fixed-term contract in Canberra requires active NV1 clearance.
Tavsif
- Package existing software and applications for automated scheduled updates
- Build, administer, and provide Level 3 support for production systems
- Prioritise support work through service management tools
- Design and document system builds
- Review interfacing systems and provide advice within agreed timeframes
- Send the client weekly progress updates using online reporting tools
- Work with the Solutions Architect and Security Specialist on each production release
- Support a federal government client as part of a small technical team
Talablar
- Must be an Australian citizen with an active NV1 security clearance
- SFIA level 5 capability in Systems Integration and Build (SINT), or equivalent practical experience
- Experience packaging software, automating deployments, and scripting across server and endpoint environments
- Level 3 production systems support experience using ITSM tools
- Ability to write clear technical documentation for system builds and designs
- Experience in secure government ICT environments is desirable
- A proactive approach and interest in developing project management and PMO skills
