Finance Manager, Financial Control and Accounting
Lead Joko’s close, treasury, reporting, and financial controls. Build accounting operations across France, the US, and future markets for its AI shopping app.
Tavsif
- Manage the monthly and annual close calendar.
- Set high standards for external accounting partners and auditors.
- Deliver accurate, timely profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
- Oversee payables and receivables, including invoicing, payment runs, and collections.
- Build accounting operations for new entities and international markets.
- Develop the IFRS consolidation framework.
- Manage cash, including reconciliations, yield optimization, and daily treasury.
- Serve as the primary contact for banking and accounting partners.
- Coordinate with auditors and support IPO readiness.
- Improve and document financial processes and controls.
- Work with BizOps to automate reporting and reconciliations.
- Report directly to the COO.
Talablar
- 4–8 years of relevant experience.
- A strong accounting or audit background; Big Four or equivalent experience is preferred.
- In-house experience at a scale-up is preferred.
- A master’s degree from a leading business school.
- Strong knowledge of French GAAP and treasury fundamentals.
- Interest in building accounting operations across multiple entities and countries.
- IFRS experience is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to investigate problems and identify root causes.
- Regular use of AI at work and enthusiasm for automating finance processes.
- Fluency in French and English.
- A dual accounting degree such as DCG/DSCG is a plus.
