Energy Efficiency Engineer – Hybrid, France
Develop and safeguard Energy Savings Certificate projects through technical analysis, project sizing, compliance checks, and partner support. Help identify energy-saving opportunities and guide projects from initial needs assessment to completion.
Tavsif
- Help develop Energy Savings Certificate (ESC) projects and manage their risks
- Guide projects from assessing client needs through completion
- Evaluate project requirements and constraints
- Estimate costs and size the work required
- Coordinate projects and track their progress
- Assess the potential of Standardized Operation Sheets (FOS) and spot energy-saving opportunities
- Carry out technical and techno-economic project analyses
- Advise partners on preparing and completing the work
- Check projects against FOS requirements and flag compliance risks
- Help partners assemble and review the technical documents for project applications
- Identify and assess transport subcontractors (STTs), and support their onboarding
- Track technical and regulatory changes affecting ESCs
Talablar
- A degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification in a relevant technical field
- At least five years of professional experience, preferably in energy efficiency, construction, transportation, or the ESC scheme
- Knowledge of how the ESC scheme works
- Ability to analyze technical requirements
- A thorough, self-directed approach and strong analytical skills
- Confidence communicating with partners
- Enjoyment of working in developing environments
