BIM Engineer, Egypt (Onsite)
Develop architectural, structural, and MEP models for Power International Holding. Support clash detection, quantity takeoffs, visualizations, and construction coordination.
Tavsif
- Support the manager as a member of the project team
- Coordinate with project owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
- Develop and assess virtual construction processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Improve project documentation and delivery
- Create and maintain architectural, structural, and MEP BIM models using tools such as Autodesk Revit
- Attend coordination meetings and address model clashes and conflicts
- Check BIM models for accuracy, completeness, compliance, and alignment with standards and codes
- Help implement BIM workflows and processes, including training and supporting colleagues
- Run clash detection analyses
- Extract material and component quantities for estimating, scheduling, and procurement
- Produce 3D visualizations, renderings, and walkthroughs
- Connect BIM models with project data, management tools, and scheduling software
- Organize BIM data and files, managing versions, structure, and access permissions
- Keep current with BIM technologies, best practices, and industry standards
- Help improve BIM processes, workflows, and methods
- Support health, safety, and environment initiatives, join safety awareness activities, and assist with incident reporting and resolution
Talablar
- At least 5 years of professional experience
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- GCC experience of 2 years is an advantage
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD MEP, Revit, and Navisworks
- Strong collaboration and organizational abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lead and train small teams
- Ability to carry out all BIM Architect or Engineer duties
- ERP knowledge, ideally with SAP functional skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture
- Professional qualification in Construction Management or CAD programming
