Bilingual Residential Energy Auditor - Wenatchee, WA (Hybrid)
Conduct residential energy assessments with an HVAC focus for CLEAResult sustainability programs in the Chelan PUD territory. Advise customers, support contractors, and inspect completed installations in this hybrid role.
Tavsif
- Represent the program and company on site across the local service area
- Build customer trust and collaborate with contractors to increase program participation
- Travel throughout the Chelan PUD territory for up to 70% of the workweek
- Enter assessment data and prepare comprehensive home energy reports
- Develop scopes of work and installation recommendations, with emphasis on HVAC systems
- Use assessment findings to support contractor walkthroughs and bid preparation
- Inspect completed installations for quality and program compliance
- Handle customer and contractor communication by phone and email
- Complete administrative program work when not conducting field activities
Talablar
- Hold a valid driver's license and operate a personal or company vehicle throughout the Chelan PUD territory
- Speak English and Spanish fluently
- BPI certification is preferred; willingness to earn it is acceptable
- Understand residential energy efficiency, home construction, HVAC, or a related trade, or be willing to develop that knowledge
- Bring customer service experience and a considerate approach to underserved and vulnerable communities
- Work with strong attention to detail and the ability to learn new information quickly
- Work safely in attics, crawl spaces, confined areas, and elevated locations
- Use Microsoft Office applications and database platforms such as QuickBase
- Pass a motor vehicle record review and pre-employment drug screening
- Meet applicable DOT qualifications and transportation regulations when required
- Be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship or support
