- Shape backend architecture and technology choices to deliver scalable, secure, and dependable services
- Set the team’s technical roadmap and lead execution while balancing business goals with long-term platform investment
- Contribute directly through development, code reviews, design discussions, and troubleshooting complex production incidents
- Partner with Product, Architecture, DevOps, and QA to turn business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Manage, mentor, and grow backend engineers while building a culture of ownership, technical quality, and continuous improvement
- Evolve and scale critical backend platforms supporting real-time and on-demand experiences for millions of users
- Lead technical strategy, architecture, delivery, and operational excellence in a large-scale production environment
Talablar
- At least eight years of software engineering experience, including four or more years in engineering management or team leadership
- Track record of developing and operating large-scale distributed applications in production
- Hands-on backend development expertise in at least one of TypeScript, PHP, Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and contemporary CI/CD tools and practices
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, performance tuning, application security, caching, Redis, OpenSearch, MySQL, and MongoDB
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with WebRTC, real-time communications, live streaming, or media delivery platforms is a significant advantage
- Background in data platforms, event-driven systems, analytics, or other data-intensive applications
- Experience with React and modern frontend technologies
