Descriere

  • Set product direction for integrated hardware and software serving public-sector customers
  • Guide development of edge technology, including cameras, IoT devices, software, machine learning, and AI
  • Work directly across current products and manage Product Managers for established and emerging product lines
  • Set vision and strategy for cameras, vision systems, IoT, robotics, software platforms, and AI/ML products
  • Guide products from early concept and new product introduction through manufacturing, market deployment, and retirement
  • Grow the product organization while balancing technical delivery, strategic leadership, and operational discipline
  • Use analytics to guide product direction, set development priorities, oversee product P&L, and advise executives and the Board
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, and Operations on launch planning, pricing, positioning, and target markets
  • Align hardware and software engineering, supply chain, and commercial teams
  • Track market and competitor developments in edge computing, computer vision, and IoT

Cerințe

  • Bring at least 12 years of product leadership experience
  • Show a record of developing complex technologies and leading teams
  • Have expertise in hardware product development, such as cameras, IoT, or robotics
  • Have experience with software and cloud platforms that support hardware products
  • Have led new product introduction, moving hardware from research and development prototypes to mass production and global deployment
  • Have commercialized machine learning and artificial intelligence in integrated hardware and software products
  • Demonstrate business and financial acumen, including product margins, pricing, and revenue growth
  • Bring executive presence and the ability to use data, advocate for strategy, and influence board decisions
  • Be able to recruit, retain, and develop product managers in competitive technology markets
  • Hold an advanced degree (MS, MBA, or PhD) in engineering, computer science, business, or a related field
  • Relocate to Austin within the first 6–8 months
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States
