Descriere
- Partner with cross-functional teammates across time zones to improve the Grindr app
- Manage several work streams while applying strategic thinking in ambiguous situations
- Use A/B testing and real-time observability to inform technology, architecture, and workflow decisions
- Strengthen the team’s technical capabilities and adoption of new tools and practices
- Design and deliver A/B tests for core monetization capabilities
- Modernize the iOS technology stack
- Collaborate with backend and Android engineers to shape the future of Grindr’s core product
- Maintain and advance software architecture for present and future requirements
- Build innovative consumer mobile experiences that support the product roadmap
- Take ownership of initiatives and drive organizational change
Cerințe
- Six or more years of experience developing complex iOS applications
- Technical expertise that enables individual contributors to be creative and innovative
- Background in product leadership and technical decision-making
- Ability to weigh product priorities against engineering tradeoffs
- Experience partnering with business stakeholders from the C-suite and VP level through broader teams
- Capacity to contribute substantially to code while mentoring engineers on long-term initiatives
- Strong applied knowledge of software engineering practices and design patterns, including MVVM, Coordinator, one-way data flow, modular architecture, performance optimization, and metrics
- Experience designing architecture at scale
- Experience working with technology stacks beyond mobile
- Strong command of Swift, SwiftUI, FactoryKit, and Swift Concurrency
