Support outsourced accounting engagements at a Bethesda CPA firm, working with cloud accounting platforms. Responsibilities include ledger entries, reconciliations, accounts payable, and financial reporting.
Descriere
- Support outsourced accounting engagements with cloud-based systems such as Sage Intacct and QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable in Bill.com and troubleshoot synchronization errors
- Record ledger transactions and prepare trial balances and basic financial statements
- Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare monthly schedules for accruals, property and equipment, prepaid expenses, depreciation, and related items
- Post recurring monthly adjusting journal entries
- Help review financial statements, tax returns, and other documents
- Handle additional accounting tasks as needed and assigned by supervisors
- Work under Assistant Controllers, Controllers, and Senior Controllers in OAAS
Cerințe
- Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or have 1–3 years of experience
- Use Microsoft products proficiently
- Use QuickBooks Online proficiently; training is provided
- Use Bill.com proficiently; training is provided
- Use Sage Intacct proficiently; training is provided
