Descriere
- Adhere to all standard operating procedures
- Complete assigned audits accurately
- Meet quality and productivity targets
- Follow project protocols and instructions
- Escalate issues and identify trends
- Update productivity, clarification, and other applicable logs each day
- Seek clarification from the Manager or Team Lead when needed
- Respond promptly to emails from the Manager
- Use problem-solving skills to address issues
- Support team-wide compliance with HIPAA and OIG requirements
- Attend required in-office training
Cerințe
- Degree in life sciences or paramedical studies
- CPC or CPMA certification
- CPC certification
- More than three years of coding experience
- More than three years of multispecialty outpatient surgery coding experience, including IVR and general surgery
- Experience in outpatient surgery coding
- Familiarity with APC facility coding is an advantage
- Computer skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good communication, flexibility, and reliability
- Strong knowledge of injections and infusions
- Ability to understand and comply with the telecommuter policy
- High-speed broadband internet connection at home
- Auditing and denial management experience is optional
