- Set the architecture and technical direction for AI systems from early exploration through production.
- Design scalable, maintainable systems, guiding decisions on APIs, service boundaries, reliability, performance, security, and cost.
- Translate complex product ideas into experiments, prototypes, and production-ready solutions.
- Build dependable LLM integrations and establish ways to test, evaluate, monitor, and improve AI features.
- Write and review code while solving complex technical problems.
- Coach and support engineers.
- Shape engineering practices and help teams use AI development tools while maintaining code quality and maintainability.
Cerințe
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering complex production systems at Staff, Senior Staff, Tech Lead, or equivalent level.
- Strong practical experience with TypeScript, Node.js, software architecture, and distributed systems.
- Experience delivering production AI or LLM features, including testing, evaluation, observability, and reliability.
- Sound architectural judgment and the ability to balance simplicity, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
- Ability to own work end to end, from ambiguous technical challenges through successful production delivery.
- Ability to shape technical decisions, mentor engineers, and work effectively across teams without formal authority.
- Preferred: Experience with multi-provider LLM integrations, AI evaluation frameworks, tracing, or experimentation.
- Preferred: Experience with AWS, infrastructure as code, and event-driven architectures.
- Preferred: Experience building developer platforms, APIs, SDKs, or open-source products.
- Preferred: Experience creating shared libraries, frameworks, or internal platforms.
