Descriere

  • Support a DHS program through application analysis, architecture, engineering, development, maintenance, and technical support
  • Deliver senior-level design, coding, testing, deployment, and issue remediation across DHS platforms
  • Lead development activities and maintain alignment with the Software Engineering Life Cycle
  • Build, test, and maintain applications with .NET, React, Angular, Oracle, SQL, AWS, and Azure
  • Use software engineering expertise to address business challenges
  • Collaborate with analysts and customers to define requirements, use cases, and scenarios
  • Evaluate whether proposed designs are feasible within schedule and budget constraints
  • Plan and allocate work when serving in a technical lead capacity
  • Define designs, track development metrics, code, debug, document, test, and deliver applications on schedule
  • Implement design specifications and record design changes and unit test outcomes
  • Engage strategic and technology partners to identify suitable product solutions
  • Develop functionality that integrates with SQL Server or Oracle in collaboration with the Database Administrator
  • Create, enhance, and support application user interfaces
  • Maintain automated deployment workflows and SharePoint deployment practices across multiple environments
  • Lead meetings to assess the validity and priority of product issues
  • Analyze and resolve complex code problems raised by QA teams and clients through Technical Support
  • Diagnose and resolve application problems
  • May supervise junior software programmers and contribute to delivering high-quality products

Cerințe

  • Public Trust clearance is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in an information technology discipline
  • At least seven years of combined experience in computer programming and analyzing complex information systems, applications, or operating system software
  • At least five years of experience with the specified programming languages and technical environment
  • Familiarity with Power Automate, Drupal, ServiceNow, and Databricks is preferred
  • Microsoft Certified Professional or another Microsoft certification, or ServiceNow certification
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Ability to complete a government-issued background investigation successfully
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
  • Previous Public Trust or security clearance is preferred
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor developers, perform peer code reviews, and improve code quality
  • Strong ability to collaborate across functions
  • Ability to explain complex technical matters to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders
