Senior Product Designer – Garmin Cluj, Hybrid
Lead product design for Garmin Golf and Connect Mobile, supporting Garmin’s fitness and outdoor experiences. Drive research, prototyping, interaction design, and product development from Garmin’s Cluj-Napoca team.
Descriere
- Own work across the complete product design lifecycle
- Apply user experience, interaction, and visual design expertise across projects
- Partner with cross-functional teams to research, prototype, and design intuitive interaction solutions
- Set design direction for several projects
- Shape product development plans and concept documentation through design input
- Assess how production and operational considerations affect UX/UI
- Participate in design critiques spanning multiple product categories
- Help evaluate whether project goals and objectives are achievable
- Use strong user experience practices when designing varied features
- Review team members’ work and provide feedback within areas of expertise
- Connect design decisions to business requirements
- Deliver high-quality design solutions within expected timelines
- Select appropriate approaches and solutions to technical design problems independently
- Use sound judgment when managing schedules and taking calculated risks
Cerințe
- Experience partnering with multidisciplinary teams and cross-functional stakeholders across the full design process, from forming hypotheses and mapping user flows to producing wireframes, interface specifications, and prototypes
- A portfolio showcasing polished digital product design across multiple projects
- Advanced understanding of usability principles
- Advanced capability in applying design thinking methods
- Advanced understanding of core design principles
- Advanced understanding of user interface design principles
- Advanced skill in designing screens and user interfaces
- Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience
- Professional proficiency in English
- Technical expertise that helps connect engineering and design teams is a plus
- Experience mentoring at least one UX designer is a plus
- Knowledge of and enthusiasm for accessible, inclusive design is a plus
- Experience working with AI tools is a plus
