- Create clear, effective content for corporate communications, the website, newsroom, and marketing channels
- Act as the primary writer and editor for corporate communications, web content, and marketing materials
- Write, edit, and publish articles, whitepapers, social posts, short-form stories, and other digital and marketing content
- Develop executive, corporate, and thought-leadership narratives that support business priorities and build stakeholder confidence
- Find and develop stories focused on patient impact, scientific innovation, and other areas of the business
- Manage editorial standards, review workflows, and quality controls to protect brand consistency, accuracy, compliance, and reputation
- Lead content planning and delivery across digital, marketing, clinical, legal, and freelance teams
- Create alignment, navigate tradeoffs, and move complex cross-functional initiatives forward
- Adapt content into multiple formats and channels, including video
- Apply AI, analytics, SEO, generative engine optimization, and emerging content tools to improve reach, efficiency, and quality
- Use audience research, search data, social listening, competitive intelligence, and performance results to prioritize content opportunities
- Monitor audience growth, website traffic, and marketing-qualified leads, refining the editorial plan as results develop
- Establish performance measures and present findings and recommendations to leadership
- Deliver time-sensitive content quickly while preserving editorial accuracy and regulatory compliance
Cerințe
- At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in journalism, editorial work, corporate communications, content strategy, or content marketing
- Experience directing complex initiatives involving multiple functions
- Proven ability to establish scalable editorial processes and operations
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead through collaborators without direct reporting authority
- Demonstrated success producing measurable content results, including website traffic growth or marketing-qualified leads
- Comfort working to demanding deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Outstanding writing, editing, and editorial decision-making skills
- Portfolio showing journalism-style storytelling across long- and short-form content, executive and corporate communications, website copy and page development, B2B campaigns, and other long-form work
- Ability to make complex healthcare, pharmacy, and business subjects accessible and engaging
- Practical knowledge of content analytics, SEO, social listening, content management systems, and responsible AI-enabled tools
- Ability to manage concurrent projects, deadlines, review stages, and competing priorities with strong attention to detail
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or another regulated sector is strongly preferred
- Journalism, newsroom, or agency editorial experience is a significant advantage
