Senior Legal Counsel, Governance and Ethics at Beneva
Senior legal counsel at Beneva overseeing governance, ethics, and corporate law matters. Supports policy development, regulatory follow-up, and executive decision-making.
Descriere
- Advise and train Beneva managers and employees on applying the company’s Code of Ethics.
- Help draft corporate policies, directives, and related documents.
- Review documents prepared by other executive vice-presidencies to ensure governance alignment.
- Monitor and assess governance, corporate law, ethics, and ESG matters, and prepare recommendations or draft materials.
- Follow up internally on regulatory monitoring reports and prepare the required accountability reports.
- Document Beneva’s internal governance practices with the various executive vice-presidencies.
- Maintain the consistency, distribution, and currency of institutional documents submitted to the Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
- Support the development and implementation of organizational programs and projects involving the Legal Department.
- Serve as secretary to Beneva committees and other governing bodies when required.
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- Membership in good standing with the Bar.
- At least seven years of experience in governance, ethics, and/or corporate law.
- Excellent written and spoken French.
- Advanced written and spoken English.
