Senior Lead Revenue Accountant and Operations Analyst – India Remote
Lead revenue accounting operations for ChargePoint’s EV charging network in India. Oversee ASC 606 compliance, close activities, process automation, and revenue reporting.
Descriere
- Manage revenue from contract review and ASC 606 compliance through journal entries, reconciliations, and close.
- Assess complex contracts, purchase orders, and multi-element deals for ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Administer NetSuite revenue arrangements, schedules, billing details, and subsidiary ledger entries.
- Lead monthly and quarterly revenue close, including entries, deferrals, accruals, and variance analysis.
- Oversee milestone-based revenue recognition for project work.
- Maintain standalone selling price allocation models and audit-ready records.
- Reconcile revenue across Salesforce, NetSuite, and internal reporting systems.
- Work with Sales, Legal, Operations, and FP&A on revenue matters, forecasting, rebates, reserves, and financial analysis.
- Support revenue accounting for state and government-funded projects and mixed-product arrangements.
- Advance automation and process improvement.
- Coach junior revenue analysts and accountants.
- Report to the Senior Manager of Revenue Operations.
Cerințe
- Bring 12–15 years of progressive revenue accounting, revenue operations, or general accounting experience, ideally in SaaS, hardware, or a mixed-technology business.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of ASC 606, including multiple performance obligations, variable consideration, and contract changes.
- Have hands-on ERP experience; NetSuite is strongly preferred.
- Have experience with Salesforce.
- Use Excel or Google Sheets at an advanced level.
- Take a structured approach to close execution and audit documentation.
- Show a record of process automation, operational improvement, and successful external audit and SOX compliance cycles.
- Bring strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Be able to influence stakeholders across teams.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field such as B.Com or BBA, a CA/CPA qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
