Senior Java Developer and ORMB Tech Lead
Lead development and production support for State Street’s Java and Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) solutions. The role covers integrations, configuration, performance tuning, and go-live support.
Descriere
- Lead development and support of Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) applications using Java.
- Design and support real-time and batch programs to meet business needs.
- Use ORMB architecture, framework practices, and server infrastructure in application delivery.
- Design deployment approaches and integrations with third-party applications.
- Build OUAF integrations with Java, REST, XML/JSON, Oracle Database, Groovy, and plug-in batches.
- Write and tune complex SQL and PL/SQL for the ORMB data model.
- Investigate performance problems using SQL tuning, database configuration, AWR reports, and monitoring tools.
- Configure, extend, enhance, and report on ORMB solutions.
- Develop interfaces and migrate data using ORMB table structures.
- Create configuration design documents and develop Service Scripts, Plug-in Scripts, BPA Scripts, UI Maps, Zones, and Portals.
- Work with QA teams to prepare test scripts and carry out end-to-end testing.
- Provide functional and technical production support during and after go-live.
- Resolve production issues and support critical billing and general ledger job streams.
- Prepare build instructions, coordinate deployments, and run post-deployment smoke tests.
Cerințe
- Hands-on ORMB module experience covering customer setup, billing, pricing, billing payments and collections, and general ledger.
- Strong grasp of ORMB architecture, framework practices, and infrastructure across web application, business application, and database servers.
- Experience designing and supporting real-time and batch programs.
- Knowledge of on-premises and SaaS deployment models and third-party integration approaches.
- Extensive practical experience with OUAF, Java, REST, XML/JSON, Oracle Database, Groovy, and plug-in batches.
- Ability to write complex SQL queries and PL/SQL for the ORMB data model.
- Experience diagnosing ORMB performance issues, including SQL tuning, database configuration, and end-to-end performance analysis; familiarity with AWR reports and monitoring tools.
- Strong ORMB configuration, extension, enhancement, and reporting skills.
- Understanding of ORMB table structures, interface development, and data migration.
- Experience producing configuration design documents and developing Service Scripts, Plug-in Scripts, BPA Scripts, UI Maps, Zones, and Portals.
- Experience partnering with QA teams to develop test scripts and run end-to-end testing.
- Experience delivering functional and technical production support during and after go-live.
- Strong problem-solving and advanced troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to monitor and support job streams during critical billing and general ledger activities.
- Proficiency in preparing build instructions and working with configuration management teams on On-Demand deployments.
- Experience carrying out post-deployment smoke tests.
- Working knowledge of BI Publisher and Oracle Analytics is desirable.
- Core technical skills include OUAF, Core Java, Java Framework, web services, Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning, Groovy, Unix, and GitHub.
- Additional technical skills include shell scripting, Autosys, ORMB, BI Publisher, OAS, and AWS fundamentals.
