Senior Full-Stack Java Software Engineer
Build cloud-native Java applications, APIs, and microservices for Ford’s global customer service ecosystem. This full-time hybrid role is based in Chennai.
Descriere
- Develop scalable web applications, APIs, and microservices in a cloud-native architecture
- Write clean, maintainable, production-ready code that follows best practices
- Partner with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to deliver business solutions
- Take part in Agile development, including test-driven development and continuous delivery
- Expand test automation and improve application quality and coverage
- Track and optimize system performance with cloud monitoring tools
- Review code and encourage strong software craftsmanship
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on enterprise and fleet solutions
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least five years of software development experience
- Strong knowledge of Core Java and Spring Boot
- Strong knowledge of React.js or a comparable modern front-end framework
- Experience building REST APIs and microservices
- Understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control
- Practical experience with modern testing methods, including test-driven development, unit tests, and integration tests
- Sound grasp of software design principles, including object-oriented programming, SOLID, and design patterns
- A Bachelor of Engineering degree is preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure is a plus
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code, including Terraform, and DevOps practices
- Experience with API gateways such as Apigee
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace
- Exposure to containerized or serverless architectures
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira
- Experience in XP environments, including pair or mob programming
- Exposure to automotive or large-scale enterprise systems
