Senior Full-Stack Java Developer, Luxembourg Remote
Build Java microservices and Angular applications at Uni Systems. Contribute to testing, release management, change processes, and collaboration with customers and business teams.
Descriere
- Gather business needs with subject matter experts.
- Review current processes and applications alongside new user requirements.
- Design applications and microservices to meet business needs.
- Develop applications and microservices with the appropriate technologies.
- Maintain existing microservices applications across divisions.
- Run unit, integration, system, and performance tests.
- Support user acceptance testing and secure business approval.
- Commit code, configuration, and automated unit tests to Git, with Javadoc, Asciidoc, or other documentation as appropriate.
- Log test outcomes and manage changes in ServiceNow.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and change-management materials.
- Take an active part in agile ceremonies.
- Prepare and coordinate releases.
- Keep audit materials in SharePoint.
- Assess risks and coordinate on change-related issues.
- Help deliver deployments and adapt industry practices.
- Build customer relationships across divisions and maintain clear communication.
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in IT and at least 10 years of practical Java development experience.
- Experience writing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests for Java applications.
- Practical development experience with Spring and Spring Boot, including JPA and Hibernate persistence.
- Experience collaborating on software through Git, including branching, pull or merge requests, and code reviews.
- Experience querying relational databases with SQL and using XML, YAML, and JSON in development or configuration.
- Practical experience developing software with AI agents such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Codex, including agent-led application code changes; code completion alone does not qualify.
- Practical experience building Angular front ends with TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Advanced written and spoken English (C1).
- Experience with Apache Camel.
- Experience with Scrum and DevSecOps.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as Azure Pipelines.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform, and container platforms, such as Docker.
- Experience with public cloud architecture, such as Microsoft Azure.
- Experience developing microservices.
- Experience in financial services.
- Experience with ITIL-based service management.
