Senior Enterprise Architect, Onsite in Huntsville, Alabama
Lead enterprise IT architecture and security for the U.S. Army’s PAE Fires program. Modernize virtualization, container, cybersecurity, and mission-critical systems.
Descriere
- Create and maintain enterprise architecture designs, technical documentation, and modernization recommendations.
- Advise on VMware ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, virtual desktop infrastructure, Red Hat OpenShift, and Kubernetes environments.
- Assess enterprise infrastructure, networks, storage, applications, and system integrations to strengthen performance, interoperability, and reliability.
- Build cybersecurity requirements into architecture designs and support Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization activities.
- Contribute to application modernization, digital transformation, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) initiatives using MagicDraw, DOORS, and Windchill.
- Recommend architecture approaches for high availability, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and continuity of operations.
- Work with Government leaders and technical teams to clarify requirements, resolve architecture issues, and manage technical risks.
- Prepare architecture diagrams, technical assessments, design documents, and recommendations to inform Government decisions.
- Provide authorized after-hours support when mission needs require it.
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least eight years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems engineering, or IT infrastructure.
- Substantial hands-on experience configuring and managing VMware and virtualization technologies.
- Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and enterprise container platforms.
- Experience with enterprise networking, storage, infrastructure integration, and high-availability solutions.
- Understanding of Department of Defense cybersecurity requirements, RMF, NIST security controls, and secure architecture principles.
- Experience producing technical architecture documents and presenting recommendations to technical and Government stakeholders.
- Ability to satisfy applicable DoD 8140 workforce qualification requirements.
- Experience in U.S. Army or DoD enterprise IT environments is preferred.
- Experience with classified networks and mission-critical systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation, enterprise backup and recovery, and disaster recovery architectures is preferred.
- Familiarity with MBSE tools such as MagicDraw, DOORS, and Windchill is preferred.
- Relevant enterprise architecture, VMware, Red Hat, or cybersecurity certifications are preferred.
- A DoD Secret security clearance is required.
