Senior Category Manager, Castings Procurement
Lead castings procurement strategy for Donaldson’s global filtration technology business. Oversee supplier relationships, negotiations, pricing, quality, and supply chain risk across the Americas.
Descriere
- Set procurement strategy for the castings category to meet supply and financial goals.
- Track commodity markets and adjust strategy in response to cost and supply changes.
- Negotiate using data to achieve competitive total cost and maintain supply continuity.
- Share category strategies and market trends with leaders and stakeholders.
- Report regularly on the effectiveness of category strategies.
- Manage pricing in line with market conditions and input costs.
- Deliver annual cost reductions with assigned suppliers.
- Select, onboard, and develop suppliers in support of strategic sourcing goals.
- Use supplier performance data and tools to improve quality, delivery, cost, and ongoing performance.
- Review suppliers, benchmark results, and establish corrective action plans.
- Help plant and distribution center teams serve customers and run efficient, profitable operations.
- Work with Supplier Quality Management to reach 50 PPM quality levels.
- Assess supply base risks using formal tools, audits, analysis, and on-site engagement.
- Develop and put in place measures to reduce supply base risks.
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- At least 5–7 years of professional sourcing experience.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- ISM CPSM certification preferred.
- ASCM CPIM or SCOR-P certification preferred.
- U.S. applicants may need to meet U.S. export control requirements.
