Senior C++ Backend Software Engineer
Build distributed C++ and Java services for Jitterbit’s iPaaS and API management platform. Take scalable features from design through deployment.
Descriere
- Develop features for Jitterbit’s iPaaS and API management platform.
- Use technologies including C++, Java, Lua, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Nginx, Tomcat, Apache, MySQL, SQL Server, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, and AWS services.
- Lead projects from initial design through deployment.
- Maintain scalability, reliability, and performance in a 24/7 operating environment.
- Design reliable, scalable systems for large distributed applications.
- Write clear, maintainable code that other engineers can understand and extend.
- Work with engineering, product management, and operations teams.
- Support the growth of fellow engineers and developers through mentoring.
- Lead key initiatives and use data to guide decisions.
Cerințe
- Bring at least 10 years of experience building large-scale distributed applications.
- Have strong experience developing multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills, with close attention to detail.
- Have experience with microservices and cloud architecture and design patterns.
- Bring strong Java experience.
- Have substantial experience with leading relational databases such as SQL Server and MySQL.
- Have excellent skills authoring JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Be proficient in one or more of JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Node.js, or Go.
- Be familiar with deploying applications using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Have hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, or CloudFront.
- Communicate effectively in writing and conversation.
- Work effectively on a distributed team and in a remote environment.
- Use data to inform decisions.
