Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, Quantix (Texas Remote)

Descriere

  • Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Own dashboard projects for assigned divisions, from gathering requirements through user acceptance testing and launch.
  • Develop Power BI data models, measures, and DAX and M logic.
  • Improve report and model performance and scalability.
  • Set up and manage Power BI row-level security.
  • Help business users navigate Power BI reports and apply effective usage practices.
  • Analyze data on request for division leaders.
  • Check dashboards and reports for accurate, consistent data.
  • Work with Finance and division leaders to establish data needs and technical approaches.
  • Create development tables and validate data with the EDW Architect before moving it into production.
  • Establish and record data definitions and business rules for assigned divisions.
  • Document business rules, field definitions, and reporting logic.
  • Take part in data quality checks and raise data integrity concerns.
  • Work with the EDW Architect on pipeline design and technical documentation.
  • Contribute to AI-assisted analytics on the Quantix enterprise data warehouse by preparing data and incorporating AI outputs into dashboards.
  • Find ways advanced analytics can strengthen reporting and operational insight.
  • Gather stakeholder needs and deliver tailored analytics solutions.
  • Explain findings, data constraints, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior BI analysts.
  • Handle other assigned duties.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, business, data analytics, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • At least five years in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
  • At least five years of practical Microsoft Power BI experience, including data modeling, DAX, M, report and dashboard development, and row-level security.
  • At least five years writing SQL in complex relational database environments, including joins, aggregations, window functions, subqueries, and query tuning.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to turn complex datasets into useful insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Careful attention to detail and ability to juggle priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Proactive and self-directed, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with Azure data services such as Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Azure SQL, or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Understanding of data warehousing, including star schemas and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain.
  • Familiarity with other BI platforms, such as Tableau or Qlik.
  • Relevant Power BI certifications.
  • MBA or another advanced degree.
