Senior Accountant, Remote Contract (United States)
OLLY is seeking a temporary Senior Accountant to manage direct-to-consumer and Amazon revenue accounting. The remote role includes reconciliations, month-end close, cost of goods sold accruals, and payroll reporting.
Descriere
- Manage Shopify direct-to-consumer revenue accounting under US GAAP, covering sales, refunds, chargebacks, gift cards, shipping, and deferred revenue.
- Reconcile Shopify transactions with payment processors, bank deposits, and ERP records.
- Support Amazon Cold Ship revenue recognition and reconcile Vendor Central sales and shipment data with Green Rabbit fulfillment records.
- Prepare weekly consolidated sales invoices and investigate shipment, pricing, and quantity discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly cost of goods sold accruals, compare them with actual costs, and record needed adjustments.
- Assist with month-end close through journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and resolution of outstanding discrepancies.
- Help set up Paylocity payroll reporting, map general ledger accounts, and register payroll taxes in new states.
- Work with other teams to resolve accounting issues and improve accuracy and efficiency.
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- At least four years of accounting experience, including month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, revenue recognition, and accrual accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large transactional datasets.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Experience with Shopify, Amazon Vendor Central, e-commerce accounting, or consumer packaged goods is preferred.
- Experience with Paylocity, payroll reporting, or multistate payroll tax registration is a plus.
