Project Accountant – One10 (Remote, Minnesota)
Manage project billing, revenue recognition, reconciliations, and month-end close for One10’s client solutions. Apply GAAP and help improve revenue accounting processes.
Descriere
- Manage billing, revenue, and reconciliations for assigned projects.
- Record project transactions in line with GAAP revenue recognition guidelines and One10 workflows.
- Collaborate with Client Services Event Managers.
- Apply One10’s project accounting processes and practices.
- Recommend project journal entries to manage project funds.
- Support month-end close by reviewing project working capital summaries, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet statements, and Percent of Completion schedules.
- Prepare reports and analyses as needed.
- Review procedures and implement improvements to make revenue accounting more efficient.
- Respond to account management questions about client billing.
- Contribute to revenue and deferred revenue analyses.
- Take part in cross-training.
- Help shorten the month-end close cycle.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- Three to five years of broad project accounting experience.
- CPA certification, active or inactive, preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP or HLOOKUP.
- Financial expertise in percentage-of-completion billing and GAAP ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
- NetSuite experience preferred, along with experience using project management applications or systems.
- Experience with efficient processes and technology; accuracy is essential.
