Principal Cloud Platform Architect
Lead the design and governance of Hitachi Vantara’s AWS and Google Cloud foundation, setting enterprise standards for security, networking, identity, and cloud governance.
Descriere
- Build and govern Hitachi Vantara’s multi-cloud foundation across AWS and Google Cloud.
- Manage cloud organizations, landing zones, identity and access, network architecture, governance frameworks, and shared services.
- Help engineering teams work securely and efficiently at scale.
- Set the enterprise cloud operating model.
- Create cloud standards and guardrails.
- Keep cloud environments secure, scalable, and aligned with business goals.
Cerințe
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Expertise designing and administering AWS Organizations, organizational units, Control Tower, landing zones, service control policies, and enterprise multi-account environments.
- Track record designing and operating cloud foundations for dozens to hundreds of accounts or projects across multiple business units.
- Extensive experience with enterprise identity and access management, including federated identity, role-based access control, access governance, and cloud security architecture.
- Expertise in cloud networking, including Transit Gateway, Shared VPCs, hybrid connectivity, network segmentation, routing, DNS, and large-scale multi-cloud networks.
- Expertise in AWS security, governance, identity, and cost management practices.
- Knowledge of serverless and event-driven architectures using services such as API Gateway and Lambda.
- Strongly preferred: hands-on experience designing and governing GCP Organizations, IAM, Shared VPCs, networking, and enterprise cloud foundations.
- Experience supporting AI and machine learning cloud platforms such as SageMaker, Bedrock, Vertex AI, or similar services.
- Current AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills for work with globally distributed teams.
