Onsite Customer Service Representative in Houston
Coordinate warehouse orders, inventory, freight records, and documentation for GXO Logistics’ technology-enabled supply-chain operations. Support warehouse teams and customers by resolving discrepancies and maintaining accurate order information.
Descriere
- Distribute workloads among warehouse workers, material handlers, and drivers
- Prepare work orders, investigate discrepancies, and resolve order issues
- Assign and release orders for loading and unloading
- Allocate inventory to orders and research inventory records
- Record inbound and outbound freight information in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Prepare bills of lading (BOLs)
- Maintain existing reports and produce required reporting
- Process, audit, and organize operational documentation
- Support managers and supervisors with warehouse duties, inventory, packaging slips, reports, and customer orders
Cerințe
- Working proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills for working with carriers, customers, employees, and management
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed
- At least one year of customer service experience
- At least six months of warehouse experience
- Ability to complete a pre-employment drug test after receiving a conditional offer, if required
- Compliance with GXO safety policies and applicable CDC, OSHA, state, and local requirements
