Legal Counsel
Advise Technogym’s fitness, sport, and health business on contracts, compliance, litigation, and corporate matters. This full-time role is based at the company’s US headquarters in Jersey City.
Descriere
- Draft and negotiate contracts for projects across regions in Italian and English.
- Advise on business law across corporate affairs, operations, digital, sales and marketing, procurement, safety, security, litigation, and sustainability.
- Meet with clients, suppliers, and project teams.
- Handle corporate obligations, including liaising with notaries and authorities and obtaining certificates and corporate documents.
- Prepare letters on contractual obligations, pre-litigation matters, and claims.
- Advise on claims and coordinate with external litigation counsel.
- Create procedures, matrices, policies, templates, and standards for Technogym Group.
- Support business teams on intellectual property, competition, and IT law.
- Advise and collaborate with colleagues throughout Technogym Group.
- Improve legal processes and identify, manage, report, and escalate legal risks.
- Ensure business operations comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Deliver high-quality work to deadlines.
Cerințe
- Law degree with top marks.
- Member in good standing of a European bar.
- Five to seven years of experience in corporate and contract law.
- Strong experience in corporate and commercial legal matters.
- Experience managing external legal counsel.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in Italian and English.
- Pragmatic problem-solving approach.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in an unstructured business environment with limited corporate support.
- Process-oriented, well organized, and able to manage parallel projects and competing priorities.
- A Ph.D. in Law from an accredited law school is preferred.
