Descriere

  • Lead the design, engineering, and operation of scalable HPC platforms.
  • Improve HPC infrastructure and the experience of its users.
  • Work with researchers and scientists to raise performance and simplify workflows.
  • Automate orchestration, resource scheduling, data access, and reproducible computing.
  • Operate and improve cloud and on-premises HPC environments, with a focus on availability and performance.
  • Set and track infrastructure metrics and resource utilization.
  • Drive initiatives that support critical business projects.
  • Deploy HPC solutions and develop knowledge of emerging HPC technologies.

Cerințe

  • Practical HPC platform experience, including accelerators such as GPUs, schedulers such as Altair Grid Engine or Slurm, Kubernetes, and containers such as Docker or Apptainer.
  • Experience with HPC workloads, infrastructure, and cluster architectures.
  • Strong Linux command-line, troubleshooting, and HPC administration skills.
  • Experience with DevOps tools including GitHub, Chef, Ansible, or Terraform.
  • Experience automating infrastructure and applications.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning about HPC technologies, infrastructure trends, and practices.
  • Programming and scripting ability in languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least five years of experience as an HPC Platform Engineer.
  • Experience leading a large-scale infrastructure project spanning global teams.
