HAZOP-LOPA Chair and Process Safety Engineer
Lead HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA and PSSR work for NEO2’s industrial engineering projects. Model fire, explosion and toxicity risks across energy and infrastructure assignments.
Descriere
- Shape process risk plans during design with guidance from the Process Risk Manager.
- Select suitable studies and assessment methods.
- Lead project risk identification and analysis reviews, including HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA and SIL.
- Help identify safety-critical elements and define safety instrumented systems.
- Model hazards such as fire, explosion, overpressure, chemical reactions and toxicity using DNV PHAST and internal tools.
- Develop practical measures to prevent and mitigate process risks.
- Help develop fire and gas detection concepts.
- Support the placement of emergency shutdown buttons and classification of ATEX hazardous areas.
- Carry out Pre-Startup Safety Reviews at commissioning sites.
- Travel regularly, including trips of two to four weeks, to three European centers for HAZOP-LOPA workshops.
- Make occasional international trips to conduct PSSRs.
Cerințe
- Hold a university degree in chemical engineering, industrial process safety or a comparable engineering field with a strong process engineering focus.
- Have at least 5 to 7 years of professional experience in process engineering or a related field.
- Have at least five years of industrial process safety experience, including leading HAZOP-LOPA workshops for varied and complex processes.
- Have excellent spoken and written English.
