Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across Catalyst Brands’ fashion retail portfolio. Turn retail, e-commerce, and wholesale financial drivers into insights for business decisions.
Descriere
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across retail, e-commerce, wholesale, and corporate operations.
- Build and maintain financial models with well-documented assumptions.
- Compare sales, gross margin, operating expenses, and profitability with budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
- Identify the underlying causes of financial variances.
- Review general ledger accounts and transaction details to validate monthly results.
- Investigate unexpected financial variances.
- Work with Accounting during month-end close to evaluate accruals and resolve discrepancies.
- Assess pricing, product volume, category mix, and product costs across brand channels.
- Present financial results, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leaders.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and brand leaders for Aéropostale, Lucky Brand, and Nautica.
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a combination of accounting and financial analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, lookups, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables, and driver-based modeling.
- Ability to review and verify your own work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships across teams.
- Knowledge of retail or wholesale business models and their distinct financial drivers is preferred.
- Finance or accounting experience in apparel, footwear, retail, or consumer packaged goods is preferred.
- Experience with enterprise systems and reporting tools such as Oracle, OneStream, or MicroStrategy is preferred.
