Field Service Technician – Electromechanics in France
TOMRA is seeking a field service technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and commission food-sorting systems. The role is home-based, with assignments mainly across Brittany and occasional travel elsewhere in France.
Descriere
- Install and commission sorting equipment at customer sites
- Maintain and troubleshoot electromechanical sorting systems
- Train operators and customer maintenance teams
- Deliver technical guidance and advise customers
- Represent TOMRA while supporting high service standards
- Complete assignments mainly in Brittany and nearby regions
- Travel occasionally to other parts of France
- Prepare customer visits from a home-based location
- Document completed work in service reports
- Maintain and update technical documentation
- Provide remote technical support when required
Cerințe
- A technical qualification equivalent to at least two years of post-secondary study in electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, automation, electronics, or a related discipline
- Hands-on experience diagnosing electrical faults and troubleshooting electromechanical systems
- Fluent French and effective English communication in technical and professional settings
- Demonstrated experience with preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and industrial equipment repair in customer-facing environments
- Solid IT skills, including PC systems, networks, and configuration
- Field service, customer-site maintenance, commissioning, installation, or technical support experience is highly advantageous
- Strong customer-service focus and excellent interpersonal communication
- A valid Category B driving licence
