Descriere

  • Support Colorado utility energy efficiency programs.
  • Assess commercial and industrial buildings and conduct detailed studies.
  • Recommend improvements to building automation systems.
  • Complete energy calculations.
  • Prepare technical reports.
  • Identify energy efficiency measures.
  • Perform engineering calculations and simulate equipment performance.
  • Estimate project costs.
  • Communicate with clients through site visits, virtual meetings, presentations, and technical or general writing.
  • Conduct comprehensive energy assessments of commercial buildings.
  • Provide custom calculations for SEM customer engagements.
  • Build expertise in regional energy efficiency programs.
  • Lead customer meetings and project report-outs.
  • Monitor utilization, budgets, customer satisfaction, and attention to detail.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in mechanical, chemical, or building systems engineering.
  • One to four years of experience across areas such as energy efficiency, HVAC operations or controls, building energy investigations, utility programs, electrification, retrofit project management, controls upgrades, or building codes and safety standards.
  • Professional Engineer licensure or Engineer-in-Training status is preferred but not required.
  • Strong ability to explain complex ideas to varied audiences.
  • Experience working with contractors and building owners.
  • Strong interest in energy, systems, process efficiency, and productivity improvement.
  • Commitment to continuous learning.
  • Willingness to travel nationally up to 25% for on-site customer work, with minimal overnight stays.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk moderate distances.
  • Ability to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to occasionally crawl on the floor and climb ladders.
