- Grow Ogier’s regulatory consulting business and maintain its profitability.
- Build relationships with Guernsey regulators, law enforcement, clients and financial services firms.
- Track targets and KPIs, reporting on budgets, performance, opportunities and risks.
- Set and deliver the strategy for Ogier Regulatory Consulting in the Channel Islands.
- Lead business development, marketing and growth for Channel Islands services.
- Work with Ogier Legal, Ogier Global and Group colleagues to complement existing offerings.
- Manage client expectations, strengthen relationships and identify new, repeat and cross-selling opportunities.
- Represent the business at industry events and forums, and lead compliance thought leadership and external training.
- Deliver high-quality client engagements independently or with colleagues, within agreed timelines.
- Monitor regulatory developments, consultations, changes and industry standards.
- Maintain the Channel Islands consultancy toolkit and ensure alignment with applicable laws, regulations, guidance and best practice.
- Keep client e-learning materials up to date.
- Recruit, lead, manage, coach and mentor local consultants.
- Establish governance arrangements, policies and procedures for the consulting team.
- Use systems, including AI, in service delivery and help develop new services.
Cerințe
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in regulatory and compliance consulting.
- Strong academic credentials and substantial practical experience, backed by a relevant professional qualification.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Channel Islands anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing laws and regulations.
- Commitment to high-quality client service, understanding needs and delivering solutions.
- Excellent management and influencing skills.
