Handle civil litigation, debt collection and credit recovery remotely for a Brazilian law firm. Draft pleadings, manage cases and pursue asset enforcement measures.
Descriere
- Manage collection lawsuits, evidence-based claims, enforcement of extrajudicial instruments, judgment enforcement and possessory actions tied to portfolio contracts.
- Draft and review complaints, answers, replies, motions, appeals and procedural filings.
- Run enforcement proceedings and attachment measures, using asset searches and tools such as SISBAJUD, RENAJUD and INFOJUD, along with seizures, valuations and expropriations to recover debts.
- Review contracts, case histories, documents and evidence to identify risks, inconsistencies and litigation strategies.
- Track cases proactively to ensure they are not suspended or closed before available credit-recovery measures are exhausted.
- Manage deadlines, court publications, judicial and administrative actions, costs, diligences, property records, searches, receipts and required documents.
- Prepare and check claim calculations and amounts, particularly for collection, enforcement and judgment enforcement proceedings.
Cerințe
- Law degree.
- Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
- Substantial experience in civil law, contract law, credit recovery and civil procedure.
- Strong legal drafting skills, with technical, clear pleadings tailored to the intended outcome.
- Strong organizational skills to manage a high-volume caseload and flag critical or strategic matters.
- Strong communication skills for team collaboration and client reporting.
