Yield Product Development Engineer
Improve semiconductor manufacturing yield at Intel using statistical analysis, machine learning, and root-cause investigation. Support new product introductions and optimize the connection between chip design and manufacturing.

- Investigate yield constraints and implement improvements to manufacturability and yield across technology nodes.
- Build methods and systems to combine and analyze large, varied datasets for defect analysis and yield modeling.
- Apply statistical analysis, visualization, and process roadmaps to advance technology yield targets.
- Analyze structured and unstructured data with advanced statistics, machine learning, and programming.
- Interpret fab process, defect, and electrical data; detect anomalies and guide process changes to improve yield.
- Create multivariate algorithms and tools to find yield constraints and recommend process adjustments.
- Work with design teams to address yield problems and confirm manufacturability before production ramp.
- Lead new product introductions, support design-technology co-optimization, and take part in factory design-of-experiments efforts.
- Create measurement recipes that provide timely product-integrity feedback and help resolve yield or quality issues.
- Develop and strengthen systems for advanced logic nodes with equipment suppliers and internal teams.
- Build AI and machine learning applications and computational tools that link design with manufacturing, improve design efficiency, and shorten debugging time.
- Write technical procedures, train colleagues, and troubleshoot equipment, software, and process failures in production.
Prasības
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a semiconductor-related STEM field, such as engineering, physical science, or computer science.
- At least 5 years of experience with a master’s degree, or at least 2 years with a Ph.D., working with advanced semiconductor devices and process flows.

- Preferred: At least 2 years of experience with data analysis systems and software tools.
- Preferred: At least 2 years of experience projecting yield using end-of-line signals and in-line parameters.
- Experience managing projects or programs.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to learn independently.
- Record of working across organizations in matrix structures to meet strategic goals amid competing priorities.
