Senior Women’s Apparel Designer at True Religion
Lead True Religion women’s chase collections from trend research through production, shaping product development and seasonal storytelling. Guide CADs, fittings, commercial analysis, and the growth of junior designers.

- Lead design and development for chase categories including tops, tees, sweaters, dresses, and outerwear.
- Add performance elements to products when appropriate.
- Manage design from concept through final sample, including research, sketching, CADs, material selection, fittings, and seasonal storytelling.
- Produce detailed CADs and technical sketches in Adobe Illustrator.
- Work with Product Development and Production to preserve design intent throughout development and manufacturing.
- Lead and attend fittings, applying knowledge of garment construction, patterns, and fit standards.
- Use sales results, historical performance, and customer insights to guide designs and assortment choices.
- Mentor associate and assistant designers.
- Track design schedules and production deadlines.
- Follow market trends, customer behavior, and competitors to keep collections relevant and aligned with the brand.
- Report to the Senior Director of Women’s Design.
Prasības
- Bring 8 or more years of women’s apparel design experience.
- Demonstrate experience leading and developing junior design talent.
- Have deep knowledge of garment construction, pattern development, fittings, and the complete design process.
- Use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop at an advanced level.
- Have experience with PLM systems, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Create detailed CADs and communicate design intent clearly in visual and verbal formats.
- Show strong organization, time management, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Interpret sales data and apply insights to design decisions.
- Experience in both corporate and fast-paced, trend-led design settings is preferred.
- Experience with designer or lifestyle brands with a strong brand identity is preferred.
- Meet applicable employment eligibility requirements.
