Apraksts

  • Design, build, and operate Reap’s shared identity layer, including login, sessions, and multi-factor authentication.
  • Create secure, reusable APIs and services for engineering teams.
  • Develop tools to detect and prevent unauthorised access and account takeover.
  • Work with product and risk stakeholders to turn threats into practical controls.
  • Establish consistent authorisation and access controls with dependable audit trails.
  • Design secure data and traffic routing to meet jurisdiction-specific needs.
  • Build dependable infrastructure for security, risk, and transaction alerts.
  • Operate AWS services using CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
  • Integrate threat modelling, security testing, monitoring, logging, and alerting into delivery.
  • Investigate incidents and resolve their root causes.
  • Lead architecture and design reviews and define engineering standards.
  • Mentor engineers while contributing hands-on.
  • Work with the Knox product manager and engineering teams to prioritise work that reduces risk and supports market access.
  • Provide APIs, defaults, and documentation that simplify secure adoption.
  • Use AI tools responsibly for coding, debugging, testing, and documentation.

Prasības

  • 8–10+ years in backend or platform engineering, including hands-on ownership of production security-critical services or shared identity and access infrastructure.
  • At least 2 years in a technical leadership role, such as Tech Lead or Engineering Manager.
  • Demonstrated ownership of architecture decisions, engineer mentoring, and complex projects delivered end to end.
  • Strong knowledge of authentication, authorisation, session security, MFA, and access control.
  • Experience implementing OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
  • Experience applying secure-by-design practices, threat modelling, and least privilege.
  • Node.js and TypeScript are preferred; strong backend engineers working with Go, Java, or Python may also be considered.
  • Experience building APIs and event-driven or serverless systems.
  • Strong AWS experience securing and operating production services.
  • Solid CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases such as AWS Aurora, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Experience with schema design and ORM frameworks such as TypeORM.
  • Ability to design for sensitive data protection, traceability, and dependable audit trails.
  • Ability to assess threats, failure modes, and cross-service dependencies; debug complex issues; and balance security, reliability, developer experience, and delivery speed.
  • Comfort using AI coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Codex, with sound judgement about data handling and generated-code validation.
  • Experience in fraud prevention, account takeover protection, data residency, or security platforms in fintech, payments, crypto, or another regulated sector is a plus.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
