Senior Systems Engineer – Cloud Operations (TS/SCI with Poly)

Peraton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design and implement secure networks supporting cloud operations and U.S. national security missions. The role covers systems engineering, network architecture, and failover solutions.

Apraksts

  • Evaluate requirements submitted by customers
  • Lead end-to-end network systems engineering activities
  • Determine additional requirements needed to support mission objectives
  • Work with engineering and network teams to convert customer needs into technical solutions
  • Design, configure, monitor, and sustain network infrastructure
  • Create network architecture specifications and detailed schematics
  • Advise on hardware selection and develop efficient, scalable approaches that meet present and future capacity needs
  • Apply expertise in routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, and their interconnections
  • Develop and deploy failover solutions for major customers
  • Plan and direct Systems Engineering initiatives

Prasības

  • An active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph is required
  • Twenty years of Systems Engineer experience on programs or contracts with comparable scope, type, and complexity is required
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field is required; five additional years of Systems Engineering experience may replace the degree
  • Experience supporting the customer’s Mission Systems is required
  • Ability to assess user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to produce system requirements specifications
  • Proven experience planning and leading Systems Engineering activities is required
  • A DoD 8570/8140 certification is required, with CISSP preferred
  • A valid 8570/8140 certification is required and will be verified during the interview or offer process
  • Experience in Network Engineering and Systems Engineering supporting Cloud Operations
  • Experience designing and deploying data networks for cloud operations
  • Strong knowledge of network management protocols
  • Ability to contribute to network architecture design, system implementation, and integration of emerging technologies
