Senior DevOps Engineer, Satellite Networks
Automate Skylo’s cloud-native satellite connectivity infrastructure, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and secure deployment systems. Help build and operate direct-to-device satellite networks.

- Build and manage automation frameworks for network infrastructure and cloud components
- Design and operate end-to-end CI/CD frameworks for deploying NTN components
- Implement infrastructure as code and scalable automation across network engineering
- Manage network-element releases from development through production
- Automate multi-vendor software and firmware releases across RAN, Core, and other network layers in hybrid environments
- Improve DevOps workflows to raise reliability, shorten lead times, and enable zero-touch deployments
- Build and maintain automated integration, staging, pre-production, and testing environments
- Create modular release workflows for versioning, rollbacks, and safe deployments
- Apply security best practices to DevOps automation and cloud infrastructure
- Coordinate with security teams on role-based access controls and security policies
- Enable early fault detection and predictive maintenance for cloud-hosted network components
- Lead infrastructure modernization and strategic automation initiatives
- Work with network design teams and cloud architects to improve automation strategies
- Mentor and guide team members
- Report to the Director of Network Implementation
Prasības
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, telecommunications, electronics, or a related field
- 5–8 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or telecom automation
- Knowledge of deploying RAN, EPC, and other network components
- Expertise with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and GitLab
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, Ansible, or Go for automation scripting
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration in telecom environments
- Experience deploying network components in hybrid, cloud-native, and edge computing environments
- Strong troubleshooting, analysis, and optimization skills across infrastructure and network layers
- Proficiency with AWS, GCP, VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, Route 53, Google Compute Engine, Cloud VPN, Google DNS, and Cloudflare
- Familiarity with 3GPP standards and 4G/5G network integrations is a plus
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills in cross-functional settings
- Ability to work with colleagues around the world and bring sustained motivation
