Senior AWS Cloud Engineer (Remote, US)

Apraksts

  • Design and implement AWS infrastructure for North’s users and customers.
  • Build and maintain cloud infrastructure, services, applications, and containers in line with industry practices and company strategy.
  • Evaluate and integrate AI tools and agentic workflows, including AI-assisted infrastructure-as-code development, AIOps telemetry analysis, and automated troubleshooting.
  • Automate the environment with infrastructure as code to improve consistency, efficiency, and security.
  • Partner with DevOps teams on deployments, administration, and patching.
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to teammates and cloud engineers.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and projects assigned by management.

Prasības

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least five years of experience with AWS.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to cloud engineers.
  • Extensive experience implementing, maintaining, and securing Linux systems; Ubuntu and RHEL preferred.
  • Extensive experience with Terraform and Ansible.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with PCI-DSS-compliant infrastructure and security controls preferred.
  • Experience with multi-cloud deployments, including Google Cloud Platform, preferred.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Perl scripting or programming preferred.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Subversion, and Git preferred.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
