- Recover overdue balances from commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and private-pay accounts.
- Pursue unpaid, underpaid, and denied claims to secure appropriate reimbursement.
- Record collections work and payer communications accurately in the EMR.
- Process adjustments and coordinate claim corrections or rebilling when needed.
- Review payer correspondence and respond to patient and guarantor billing questions.
- Work toward departmental targets for productivity, receivables aging, DSO, and cash collections.
- Follow payer rules, SOX controls, and internal policies.

- Be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Have healthcare billing or accounts receivable experience.
- Understand insurance billing and denial resolution.
- Bring attention to detail, urgency, and personal ownership to the work.
- Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while working remotely.

- Have at least two years of healthcare billing or accounts receivable experience.
