Remote Cloud Engineering Analyst (Azure) — World Business Lenders
Support Azure infrastructure, automation, security, and cloud cost management for World Business Lenders. This remote role covers operational support for the services hosting the company’s applications.
Apraksts
- Provision and maintain cloud resources according to approved configurations and change procedures.
- Support virtual machines, storage, networking, identity permissions, and services that host WBL applications.
- Monitor availability, performance, and resource use; troubleshoot issues and escalate service disruptions.
- Maintain backups and help test restores and disaster recovery procedures.
- Apply approved patches and security settings, partnering with Cybersecurity to resolve vulnerabilities and access issues.
- Automate repeatable tasks with scripts and infrastructure templates, documenting and testing changes before deployment.
- Monitor cloud spending, identify unused or oversized resources, and recommend ways to reduce costs.
- Keep infrastructure records and operating procedures up to date.
- Coordinate deployments and provide support with development and Help Desk teams.
- Meet performance measures for timely issue resolution and escalation, reliable deployments, successful restore tests, accurate documentation, and completion of security and cost improvement tasks.
Prasības
- Strong spoken and written English, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and produce accurate documentation.
- Foundational knowledge of cloud computing, networking, DNS, identity and access management, and Windows or Linux administration.
- Practical exposure to a cloud platform through coursework, labs, personal projects, internships, or work; professional experience is not required.
- Basic scripting ability in PowerShell, Python, or a similar language.
- Systematic troubleshooting skills and the ability to follow change procedures.
- Relevant education, technical training, or equivalent demonstrated skills.
- Careful handling of confidential information.
- Hands-on Microsoft Azure exposure, including virtual machines, containers, virtual networks, storage, Azure Monitor, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Familiarity with Bicep or Terraform, Git, and automated deployment workflows.
- Azure certifications or related training.
- Exposure to application hosting, containers, or cloud cost management.
- Availability during U.S. Eastern business hours.

- Ability to work independently and communicate consistently with a distributed team.
