Lease Accountant – Equinix, Bangalore (Hybrid)
Manage Equinix’s global lease portfolio, supporting ASC 842 and IFRS accounting, financial close, reporting, SOX controls, and audits.
Apraksts
- Account for and review lease transactions under US GAAP (ASC 842), IFRS, company policies, and internal controls.
- Manage lease records in Lucernex, including setup, modification reviews, and accounting entries.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close with lease journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Analyze lease-related balance sheet and income statement movements and investigate significant variances.
- Assist with quarterly and annual reporting, lease disclosures, and control certifications.
- Maintain and perform SOX controls for lease accounting.
- Coordinate with Real Estate, Finance, and other teams on lease data and accounting treatment.
- Provide documentation, analysis, and responses for internal and external audits.
- Prepare reports and analysis as needed.
- Contribute to special projects and system improvements.
Prasības
- At least three years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Knowledge of US GAAP or applicable local accounting standards.
- Careful and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Able to manage multiple tasks independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience with Hyperion Essbase, Oracle Cloud, R12, or another ERP system is preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Proactive team contributor with a positive attitude.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Lease accounting experience, including ASC 842, Oracle Cloud ERP, and US GAAP, is preferred.
