Kyndryl Modernization Engineer (FDE)
Plan and design mainframe modernization work, including application architecture, frameworks, and roadmaps. Kyndryl is hiring for a hybrid role in Hungary.
Apraksts
- Set modernization priorities and roadmaps by weighing cost and risk
- Design software frameworks, systems, products, interfaces, and business application prototypes
- Find and address weaknesses in framework designs
- Guide application development teams on technical decisions
- Review software designs and code
- Maintain application design standards across the enterprise
- Work with stakeholders to align architecture with business needs and project objectives
- Document software architecture, application design, component integration, and testing
- Spot opportunities to modernize mainframe applications using legacy systems and cloud architecture expertise
Prasības
- Experience architecting major customer change and transformation projects
- In-depth knowledge and experience of hardware and software, including how platforms connect
- The Open Group Master Certified Architect credential or equivalent is preferred
- Hands-on experience in a mainframe environment is preferred
- Experience with mainframe projects covering modernization, integration, and migration is preferred
- Strong understanding of z/OS, IBM software products, and third-party mainframe software is preferred
