- Work with Plant Operations to set standard product costs and deliver timely analysis of costing variances.
- Ensure Operations and Finance follow ASSA ABLOY accounting policies and ERP usage requirements.
- Oversee the plant’s month-end close and prepare monthly operational performance reports with variance analysis.
- Build and implement budgeting and financial reporting systems.
- Streamline the monthly close and help Operations leaders track results and action plans.
- Prepare monthly bridges, walks, and reconciliations that explain significant financial variances.
- Contribute to business reviews by analyzing direct materials, labor, variable production costs, savings, productivity, and operational variances.
- Create Finance presentations for performance reviews and business meetings.
- Maintain financial controls, books and records, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
- Review balance sheets and reconcile accounts with entities across China.
- Serve as the system expert for Hyperion reporting tools.
- Handle ad hoc projects and business requests.
- Build working relationships with Operations and Finance teams across APAC.
- Apply a strong commitment to compliance and integrity.

- Experience or knowledge in standard product costing and project cost estimation.
- Knowledge of accounting policies and ERP usage.
- Financial analysis and variance analysis skills.
- Experience with budgeting and financial reporting systems.
- Knowledge of monthly close processes, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial controls.
- Experience with balance sheet reviews and reconciliations.
- Familiarity with Hyperion reporting tools.
